The Fall of the Artifacts

Game made for the Retro Platform Jam 6.

The game has five mechanics for the enemies, various maps to explore, and a linear story.

"Five mysterious artifacts fell from the sky and the planet was observed mirrored there. The druids of the village interpreted it as a sign of bad omen, and that's why they asked you to search and destroy those machines. However, the dark forces saw this situation as their opportunity to attack."

Tips:

Archers and dragons are vulnerable to arrows.

Druids are your only allies.

The artifacts can be destroyed only with a sword.

Orcs come from all over the underground, watchout!

Due to time constraints due to the submission date, I didn't get to add texts to the game (it´s a game made for Atari VCS), so I'm adding the end of the story below:

"Finally, you arrive on an island where there is a scientist working with computers, and he explains that he comes from the future.

A black hole approached Earth, and redirected light reflected from the planet, generating a hologram in the sky. The best way to prevent the Earth from being destroyed by the black hole was to travel to the moment when this event occurred for the last time, to divert its trajectory with the machines that were reflectors of gravitational waves. The destruction of the machines doomed the planet."
